To Display Custom Folders of Units in the Units Catalog

If you create a custom folder for storing special units, materials, or custom costs, you can include the contents of the folder in the Units Catalog by using the Show in Units Catalog command. This command is accessed from the shortcut menu of the Folder List. For more information about custom folders, see Creating Custom Folders.

You can view the custom folder's contents by clicking the Folders tab of the Units Catalog. The name of each custom folder is displayed on the vertical tabs. Clicking a tab displays the contents of the folder.

  1. In the Folder List, right-click the custom folder of units that you want to include in the Units Catalog.
  2. From the shortcut menu, choose Show in Units Catalog.
  3. In the Design Assistant or the Unit Assistant, click the Folder tab of the Units Catalog. If more than one custom folder is displayed, click the appropriate vertical tab.
  4. If needed, the Search for can be used to filter the current tab’s contents based on any of the displayed attributes.
